Muscle Relief - To support healthy muscles when body and mind are under stress, add 3-5 drops to 10 drops of a carrier oil, such as Olive or Almond oil, and massage into the muscles. For optimum results this recipe can be enhanced by adding 3 drops of Peppermint oil and 3 drops of Lavender true. Repeat as necessary.
Digestion - To support normal digestion blend 2-3 drops in 2 ml of Olive oil and massage into your stomach in a clockwise direction. This recipe may be enhanced by adding 3 drops of Peppermint oil. Repeat as necessary

For centuries herbal practitioners have recommended Basil to support the respiratory system and digestive health, particularly to soothe a bloated tummy, flatulence or indigestion. Though it has a long standing as a culinary herb, in parts of Mesoamerica, where it is used in the traditional Temezcali cleansing ceremony, it is generally only considered for spiritual and medicinal purposes. Basil leaves are sometimes crushed and put into the outer ear for ear infection. Basil has been utilised for headaches, anxiety and mental fatigue as well as stress management and decision-making. Historically Basil was antidote for the bite of some snakes and poisonous insects.
