Be Vibrant is making changes to the way we manage customer loyalty points.
Why are we making changes?
The main reason is that we've been reliant on 3rd party software to manage the loyalty programme, and even after trying several software providers, we were not happy with the functionality being provided to our customers. We were not feeling that the software was delivering value for money - and as a small business trying to operate with minimal overheads to keep prices down, this is just as important for our customers as it is for us! (The 3rd party software is quite expensive to subscribe to!)
As of 1 April 2020, all our loyalty points are being managed "in house" and manually by us :)
What about points I've earned before now?
We have full records of all the points you'd accrued under our prior scheme and you can email us to find out your balance. Please be sure to email us from your account email so we can verify it's you. If you've made a purchase where a manual discount was applied by us, then we may have made a manual adjustment to your loyalty points balance as a points redemption for the discounted amount.
Simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for your points balance :)
What about earning points going forward?
During April 2020 we are under a review process of how best to reward our most loyal customers. We'd like to reward customers who purchase regularly as this helps us keep our supply consistent. It's likely we will look at auto-ship to apply automatic discounting, or a membership programme, or similar.
Automated programmes for accruing points are expensive with limited/ frustrating functionality and as a small business, we feel they are not delivering the simple & straightforward value that we want to provide.
Because we keep prices very low and we offer an extensive range of amazing personal & household products, it's also not really affordable to us to offer points accrual on top of welcome / ad hoc package discounts, free shipping, etc.
However, we are able to offer good rewards/ discounts for customers who purchase regularly & on an ongoing basis - this helps us plan our own stock purchasing - which is why we're looking to move towards this model.
We are also really keen to support your charity/ organisation fundraising! We can set up discount codes for your organisation that donate the discount amount to your cause, with full reporting & transparency on purchases made by members.
