Myrrh has a host of healing and cleansing properties that support its use in skin care and repair. Myrrh Wild Crafted Essential Oil offers general tonic effect on mind and body and is popular in earthy blends.  It blends well with Frankincense, Orange Sweet, Sandalwood, and Rose.

Uses & Benefits:

• Cuts & Wounds - To support natural healing, add 3 drops of Myrrh and 5 drops of Lavender True to water and wash affected area. Repeat twice a day.

• Mouth Care - To aid natural healing from mouth ulcers, apply 1 drop of Myrrh direct to the gum. Repeat twice a day for 5 days.

• Skin Care - For healthy, soft, revitalised skin after sun exposure, add 10 drops to 50gms of night cream or oil and apply to the face prior to bedtime.

• Calm -  The musky scent of Myrrh promotes an atmosphere of calm and composure. Add 3-5 drops to a diffuser in your bedroom or during meditation and relaxation time. Repeat as required.

Traditional & Historical Information:

Myrrh has been used since ancient times in incense, perfumes and holy ointments. The ancient Egyptians used myrrh while worshipping the life-giving strength of the North African sun. They also used it in embalming compounds and burned pellets of myrrh to repel fleas. The Chinese have used myrrh to treat wounds and relieve swelling. The intense and restorative scent is believed to have protective properties and to have a calming effect on the mind. It has also been promoted as a beneficial treatment for loose teeth, gingivitis, bad breath and toothache.

Directions for Use:

Add 3-5 drops to a carrier oil, or to your bath or diffuser. Can be safely applied directly to the skin. See additional uses above.
