Absolutely versatile, Mānuka or Manuka oil is the quintessential NZ native healer.
It is sourced from a shrub native to New Zealand. It has a huge range of cleansing and healing properties that support conditioning skin care, as well as natural respiration and recovery from congestion.
Uses:

Skin Health - Add 5-10 drops to a bath to support healthy skin and natural recovery from irritation and itchiness. Repeat twice a week or as required.

Yeast Infections such as Thrush- Supports natural immunity and healthy acid/alkaline balance in the vagina, thus protecting against yeast related infections. Simply add 5 drops of Manuka to the bath or 2 drops to a douche. Repeat daily as required.

Colds & congestion - To promote healthy breathing and help clear infection, add 5 drops to 5 drops each of Lavender Spike and Eucalyptus. Use via steam inhalation or dilute in 1ml Sweet Almond oil and rub over the chest and back. Repeat as required.

Skin Care - As a gentle cleanser and to help reduce dry and scaly skin or to aid wound healing or mild dermatitis, add 5 drops to your face and body wash. Or add 5-10 drops to cream and apply to your skin to alleviate itchiness.

Since pre-European times the New Zealand Maori have revered Mānuka for its strength and healing abilities. It has been used to treat a range of skin problems including chronic sores, ring worm and eczema. The Maori also cite Mānuka for urinary complaints and for reducing fever. Originally, they boiled the leaves in water to inhale for colds, blocked sinuses, hay fever and asthma and rubbed the warm liquid onto stiff backs and sore joints.
