Artemis Baby Gripe Tea
Baby Gripe Tea combines the active constituents of medicinal plants to soothe and settle baby's tummy. Baby Gripe Tea can be given directly to baby and/ or via Mum's breast milk. The formula provides parents with a natural option to help relieve colic and reflux.

Aniseed (Pimpinella anisum semen): The oils in Aniseed soothe the gut wall, easing griping pains and reducing the production of gas in the digestives tract. It has a pleasant taste that is commonly used to improve the taste of medicines for children, increasing compliance.
Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla herba): Effective for soothing digestive upsets due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic properties. Commonly used for reflux, colic, gastritis, abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Chamomile is a gentle sedative that helps to relax muscles and calm nerves and helps to soothe baby.
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum cortex): Helps relieve flatulence, cramps, colic, nausea and vomiting.
Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale radix): Promotes an overall healthy digestive system by stimulating the liver, gallbladder and pancreas. This bitter herb increases digestive juices and helps to break down food.
Fennel seed (Foeniculum vulgare semen): With alkalising properties, this herb helps treat indigestion, heartburn and colic. Fennel seed helps relieve excess gas as well as relax spasms in the digestive tract. Fennel is especially useful as a treatment for infant colic.
Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra radix): Soothes and protects irritated mucous membranes of the digestive tract and helps relieve abdominal colic, gastritis, ulcers and inflammation.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita folia): Helps reduce a number of painful digestive problems including bloating, gas and nausea. There has been much success with Peppermint significantly easing the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
No gluten, sugar, caffeine, artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. GE free.
Directions for Use and Storage:
Suitable for adults, breastfeeding women, children and babies. Use as directed. If symptoms persist see your health professional.
Shake contents before opening. Use 1 level teaspoon (1g) per cup (150ml) and infuse with boiling water for 5-10 minutes. Do not microwave.
Breastfeeding mothers: take 1 cup during the feed. Keep enough prepared tea for baby/child afterwards (recommended dosage below), maximum 3 doses per day.
Recommended dose: babies: 5ml | 6-12 month: 10ml | 1-4 years: 20-40ml | 4-10 years: 50-100ml
The prepared tea can be refrigerated (covered) for up to 12 hours. Always drink warm. If time is an issue, distribute the recommended baby dose into ice trays and freeze. When needed, pour a little boiling water over the ice cube to melt.
Filled by weight and the herb contents may settle after filling. 30g = 30 doses.
